My USMC DI's were surviors of Beriut....and
hearing them take time to talk about that experience
along with the generations of Marines whom have march
on USMC SanDiego parade deck & our American flag
symbolism to them as traveling fleet Marines was my
anchoring point in commiting to my goal of graduating Boot
Camp (mid-80's). I have always maintain a "silent
pride" of service & world events envolving our troops.
Mourning in silent or celebrating successful rescues of
down pilots or citizens in hostile countries. But we
all much recongize that all skin colors of USA
citizens bleed "red". This unity movement should be
inclusive of all...great tragedies should not be calayst
for a daily acknowledgement of our fellow citizens of
diverse backgrounds & American freedom. I fly around
country and see airport security and laugh...i have
always been able to rush medal detectors and wands
inspections by just a strong voice. I will look forward to
finally seeing USA airports take drastic steps. Thank you
NYFire Dept & NY Police and other officers across our
country for a daily job that does get its just
respect...
